No Discipline for Zadorov

In somewhat uncharacteristic fashion, the NHL Department of Player Safety (DoPS) opted to forgo any supplemental disciple for Calgary Flames' defenseman Nikita Zadorov's illegal check to the head of Dallas Stars' forward Luke Glendening during Game 6 last night. It is incredibly rare for the DoPS to offer a hearing and not act with some type of discipline, even if it results in a simple fine rather than a full-on suspension.
In their two-part tweet, they thoroughly explained that the head contact was "unavoidable" in this play. Undoubtedly, this is a somewhat controversial ruling. Dallas Stars' coach was absolutely beside himself that there was no penalty on the play. Only time will tell what his opinion is of this ruling.
