Alexander Ovechkin has yet another milestone night (w/video)

Washington Capitals captain Alexander Ovechkin added another milestone to his illustrious career, on Wednesday night.

With his first period goal against Tampa Bay, his 43rd on the season, Ovechkin became only the 21st player in National Hockey League history to record 1,400 points.

The 36-year-old is having another fantastic season, and with his goal tonight, Ovechkin is up to 80 points. Ovechkin has now recorded 80 or more points in a single-season for the tenth time in his seventeen year career.

With ten games remaining after tonight, there's no doubt that Ovechkin will hit fifty goals for the ninth time in his career.
