Robert Bortuzzo Slams Brett Kulak From Behind
Newly acquired Edmonton defenseman Brett Kulak was on the wrong end of a dangerous looking check from STL D Robert Bortuzzo. Here's the hit:
This hit looked bad, and Kulak looked a little worse-for-wear after the fact which isn't a great sign. However, Bortuzzo committed to the check while Kulak was square to the puck. It was not until a change of course was no longer possible that the EDM D turned his back. Therefore, I don't suspect any serious discipline for Bortuzzo.
