Mathieu Joseph Wastes No Time Getting Comfortable In Ottawa
After being traded, Mathieu Joseph has a chance to blossom into a much bigger player than perhaps he would have in Tampa Bay. The reigning two-time champs are absolutely loaded on offense, so Joseph's role would likely always be bottom-six.
However, on a bottom-feeder like the Senators he has already been given a bigger role, & he doesn't seem interested in giving it up any time soon. Friday night he scored a hat-trick in just his fifth game with the Senators. He's amassed 5 points since the trade, and if he's given a chance to grow with this club that could prove to be an excellent trade by GM Pierre Dorion.
