It seems like the Vegas Golden Knights are facing some real adversity for the first time since coming into the league in 2017. The Knights have accumulated four straight losses and now sit outside of a playoff spot by points percentage. The team's record is 4-9-1 since February 16th and frustration appears to be setting in.

"I'm sick of it," said forward Chandler Stephenson after a 6-4 loss to Columbus on Sunday. "I think everybody is sick of it. So, until we figure it out, I don't know. Everybody has to dig deeper, grab their nuts and just work. That's the bottom line."

"There's not much to say. It's the same old story until we can figure it out, and it's a big enough reality check. I'd think guys would be woken up by now."

Teammate Jonathan Marchessault says the team looks like it has lost confidence.

"I feel like we lost our swagger a little bit when they got the lead. I don't know. Obviously, it's just the way it goes for us. I just don't have any answers for you," he told reporters Sunday.

"There's always time to get back to our game," Marchessault added. "We have to get back to our identity. It goes back to five years ago. We had no team, but we were working. We got to work. We have to put our work boots (on) and do what we do best as an organization, as a team, and just be simple."

Vegas is now 11 points behind the division leading Calgary Flames and tied with Edmonton for third place with 68 points, although the Oilers have played two fewer games.
