Juuso Parssinen, a seventh round pick of the Nashville Predators, has been having a an excellent season in the Finnish Elite League. The 21-year-old forward has 32 points (9 G, 23A) in 41 games with TPS Turku. Things took a tough turn for him in his latest game, though as he was knocked out cold by a massive hit by Jan Scotka of JYP. Here's the video:

Parssinen was removed from the ice on a stretcher. He was said to be conscious again at the time. According to reports, he was taken to hospital and diagnosed with a concussion. His team released a statement following the game saying as he was being loaded into the ambulance, he asked if TPS Turku had won the game (they did, 4-3 in overtime).

Scotka was assessed a five minute major and a game misconduct for an illegal check to the head. It's likely a suspension is coming for him.

Translation: "Did we win?", asked Juuso Pärssinen before leaving in the ambulance.

I think this is the best possible victory speech from this evening
