Leon Draisaitl and Evander Kane Caught on Camera Going At It

Despite being very successful teammates on the ice, Evander Kane and Leon Draisaitl were caught going at it in the Oilers latest loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The Edmonton Oilers are set up for major success in 2023-24, but as Corey Perry alluded too in a recent interview, tensions may be high in the locker room, and that was on full display in the teams latest loss.

On Saturday night, the Edmonton Oilers visited the Toronto Maple Leafs, and unfortunately came out on the wrong side of a huge 6-3 game, with the team being outplayed in every way. There's many storylines coming out of this game for both teams, but perhaps none bigger than what the Sportsnet cameras picked up during the game;





With the team down 3-0 midway through the second period, Evander Kane and Leon Draisaitl were caught arguing on the Edmonton Oilers bench, and while it can be chalked up to pure emotion and desire to win, it's hard not to take more away from it given the rumours surrounding the team.

This isn't the first time that Evander Kane has reportedly been a problem for the Oilers, and while he brings talent and experience, this latest run-in with Leon Draisaitl won't go down well with Edmonton fans.

Even with the loss, Edmonton find themselves firmly entrenched in second place in the Pacific Division, but if they can't check their egos at the door ahead of the playoffs, it might not end well for the Oilers. Ultimately, this may just be a case of two players full of passion in the heat of the moment, but given all that we know about this team behind the scenes, this is something to keep an eye on going forward.
