Nylander's shocking and insulting comments to Marner on the bench leak
The end of the big four in Toronto may be flashing before our eyes after frustration grows between Maple Leafs forwards William Nylander and Mitch Marner on Saturday night in game 4 versus the Boston Bruins in yet another loss, which they are now trailing 3-1 in the series.
It was another game where Jeremy Swayman robbed the Toronto Maple Leafs as they have scored only one goal tonight. Perhaps they needed to go and get some forward help and scoring help instead of defensive pieces who have gone complete no show in the playoffs.
During a moment caught on film, you can see Mitch Marner complaining about something that happened in the earlier shift, and William Nylander jumps in and tells his teammate to quit complaining and play some hockey. It is clear that even the players are frustrated with Mitch Marner's antics.
Mitch Marner has been the Leafs scapegoat this whole first round with his lack of effort and production on the ice. Perhaps it is the end of Mitch Marner living his boy hood dream of playing for the Toronto Maple Leafs.
