It wouldn't be a Canadiens game without some sort of goaltender interference controversy, and the player usually in the center of it,
Brendan Gallagher, is at home in Montreal, but that didn't stop him from sharing his frustration.
The Canadiens felt that Antoine Roussel interfered with
Cayden Primeau on Arizona's fourth goal of Monday's game. Head coach Dominique Ducharme challenged the play, but the call was upheld and Montreal was given a two-minute bench minor for delay of game.

Gallagher took to Twitter on Monday to air his grievances with the National Hockey League's inconsistency with goaltender interference calls.
"disallowed goal vs Carolina this year/vs Arizona goal that counted tonight
Disallowed goal vs tampa this year/vs Chicago goal that counted the other night.
What's the difference? 🤔. Asking for a friend", Gallagher's tweet read.
Now if that was
Brendan Gallagher, that more than likely would have been called back upon review or simply no goal as it happened. Gallagher plays hard and goes to the net on every play, but he never gets the calls to go his way.
