Another game cancelled at the World Juniors on Wednesday
This morning, the IIHF announced that due to a positive case within the Czechia team they would have to forfeit their game against Finland. Now, a second game for Wednesday has been cancelled as well.
[Russia] forfeits today's game vs [Slovakia] due to a positive Covid test. Goes into the books as a 1-0 SVK win," said TSN's Bob McKenzie.
Slovakia receives three points for the win, while Russia gets a regulation loss
This is the third game so far that has been forfeited at the 2022 World Juniors due to positive tests.
