Wild fans have been ecstatic for the Wild's start to the season. After defeating the Coyotes Tuesday night, they moved into a tie for first place in the Western Conference as well as increasing their lead in the Central Division to four points over the second-place St. Louis Blues.
The team is having fun, and you can see it through their energy on the ice. They are a different team than in the past, and their fans are taking notice. On Tuesday night after their 5-2 win over the Coyotes, the fans decided to join in on the fun creating a massive cup snake.
The cup snake was reportedly a whopping 247 feet long, breaking the world record. Fans could also be heard chanting something along the lines of, «We want the cup,» so expectations for the team are rising even higher than they previously were. The Wild are in action again on Thursday versus the New Jersey Devils.
