On Tuesday, USA Hockey announced its 2022 World Junior camp invitations. Thirty-one players were selected including 17 forwards, 10 defensemen, and 4 goalies.
Highlighting the group is Matty Beniers, who is one of six first-round NHL Draft picks invited to the selection camp, which will be held at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan from December 13-15.
Canada will be the host country for the 2022 tournament, scheduled for December 26 to January 5 in Red Deer and Edmonton.
The team looks solid all around, having solid forwards, defensmen, and goalies. They also have six returning players (

Jake Sanderson,
Matthew Beniers,
Brett Berard,
Landon Slaggert).
Thomas Bordeleau was also selected for the 2021 team, but was unable to participate due to COVID-19. The training camp roster can be seen below.
