The Winter Olympics are coming up in early 2022 in Beijing, and both NHL players and fans are ecstatic at the return of the best players in the world returning to the event.
One of the league's biggest stars had heard the rumors of potential threats that NHL players may not be able to participate in the Beijing Olympics due to increasing cases of COVID-19, but he doesn't seem to be worried at the moment.
"I'm preparing like we're going and I think that's the best way to kind of look at it."
Crosby recently returned from the COVID-19 list, and he has taken a bit of time to get back up to speed as he currently only has 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) in 4 games. Of course, he has been renowned as one of the top players in the world for over a decade so a return to his old self is likely to happen in the near future.
