When Stan Bowman was first forced to resign as a result of the Kyle Beach situation, most were quick to condemn the longtime Chicago Blackhawks general manager. Patrick Kane, however, took a different approach.

Kane, 32, spoke about how good of a man Bowman was at the time, instead of speaking in regards to the awful situation that transpired 10 years ago. After his game on Monday night, he expressed remorse for how he spoke to media regarding the situation.

«I feel bad about the last time I talked. I put my personal experience with management ahead of the way Kyle [Beach] was treated by them. It takes incredible courage and pride for him to come forward,» Kane said. «We're all thinking about him.»

It is also worth noting that his teammate and Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews had comments similar to Kane's at the time, but he hasn't spoken with media since. This entire debacle is very upsetting and puts a major stain on the NHL, and is something people will not, and should not, get over any time soon.
