It appears that the Chicago Blackhawks could potentially be dealing with a COVID-19 outbreak. According to Charlie Roumeliotis of NBC Sports Chicago, Patrick Kane, Ryan Carpenter, and Erik Gustafsson have entered the league's COVID-19 protocol.

"Patrick Kane, Ryan Carpenter and Erik Gustafsson are in COVID-19 protocol and will not practice today. #Blackhawks," Roumeliotis said in a tweet on Saturday.

The trio will now have to test negative twice in a row in order to return to team activities. It unknown if any of the three players are symptomatic, but if they are then they must self-isolate for ten days.

The Blackhawks will be back in action on Sunday night when they host the Detroit Red Wings.
