Carter Hart exited the ice Tuesday and appeared to be limping, according to Hannah Kirkell, hours before the Vegas Golden Knights host Ottawa.
Kirkell's post didn't say what caused it or whether he returned.
The timing couldn't be worse. Vegas has dropped three straight and allowed 14 goals in that stretch.
Hart has been the busier goalie this season, with 8 appearances to Adin Hill's 5.
The 28-year-old sits at 4-3-1 with an .889 save percentage.
A goalie limping off during a skid is like the spare tire going flat while you're still changing the first one.
So who starts tonight?

Carter Hart's apparent limp raises questions before Golden Knights-Senators clash
Hill is the only other goalie to see action for Vegas this season.
He's 4-1-0, but his save percentage is a shade worse than Hart's.
He also carries the much bigger cap hit at $6,250,000, compared to Hart's $2,000,000.
Kelly McCrimmon should already be working the phones. Neither goalie has been good enough, and now one of them might be hurt.
Two of the losses in this skid came by identical 6-2 scores, to Tampa Bay and St. Louis.
Mitch Marner is also listed as day-to-day for personal reasons.

Victor Olofsson is on IR until at least November 2, and Parker Wotherspoon is out until at least November 8.
Jack Eichel leads the team with 19 points, and Mark Stone has chipped in 8 goals.
Five of Stone's goals have come over his last 5 games.
At 8-4-1, the Golden Knights still sit second in the Pacific, behind only Edmonton. They're 5-2-0 at home.
Andrew Campbell's Senators arrive at 8-4-0, fresh off a 7-4 win over the Rangers on Saturday.
Tim Stutzle leads Ottawa with 16 points. Thomas Chabot, meanwhile, is day-to-day with an upper-body injury.
Ottawa is also without William Eklund, who's out until at least January 5 with an ankle injury.
New Jersey visits Friday to close out the homestand.
If Hart's limp turns into time on the shelf, Ryan Craig won't have much of a crease decision left to make.
Should Kelly McCrimmon trade for a goalie before the Golden Knights' skid gets worse?
