The National Hockey League announced it's key dates calendar for the 2021-22 season on Monday. As we already knew, the regular season will begin on October 12, and end on April 29th. The Olympic break will start on February 3rd and run through February 22nd.
Let's take a look at more of the critical dates released today.
March 21st at 3pm ET: Trade deadline.
May 2nd: First day of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
June 30th: Last possible day of the Stanley Cup Final.
July 7th-8th: NHL Entry Draft in Montreal, Quebec.
July 12th: Free agency opens.
The 2021-22 NHL season begins in 15 days as Tampa Bay takes on Pittsburgh and the Seattle Kraken make their highly-anticipated debut when they battle the Golden Knights in Vegas.
