Kristen Hayes reveals family photos were taken just days before husband's passing
Some more very heartbreaking news broke on social media Tuesday night, as Kristen Hayes, the now widowed wife of the late Jimmy Hayes, said that her family took family photos less than a week before her husband's passing.
For those unaware, it was confirmed on Monday morning that Hayes, 31, had passed away. As of now, there is still no cause of death that has been reported, though it has been ruled as non suspicious. The news has really rocked the hockey community as tons of tributes have and are continuing to go out in honour of Hayes.
Hayes was a former NHLer who last appeared in the league during the 2017-18 season. He played a total of 334 games in stints with the Chicago Blackhawks, Florida Panthers, Boston Bruins, and the New Jersey Devils. Our thoughts and prayers go out to both the family and friends of Hayes during this extremely difficult time.
