The NHL community is still reeling from the loss of Boston native Jimmy Hayes after the 31-year-old's body found in his home in nearby Milton on Monday. According to initial reports, no foul play was suspected, however there aren't any more details on what the cause of death was.

Many teams and players from around the league issued their sincere condolences to the Hayes family, obviously broken over the loss of their friend and colleague, "Broadway", who was by all accounts a wonderful teammate and friend to everyone he played with.

Jimmy's brother Kevin, who plays for the Philadelphia Flyers has yet to speak publicly on the devastating loss, however, Hayes has other NHL family who have shared their thoughts and their grief with the hockey world via social media; New Jersey Devils GM Tom Fitzgerald, Calgary Flames forward Matthew Tkachuk and Ottawa Senators forward Brady Tkachuk, each cousins of the Hayes brothers and shared their heartbreak over the tragic news on Monday.

Hayes was truly a special person and has left a lasting impact on every organization he has represented and every player he has played with. That much is evident with the outpouring of love and the grief shared over the last 24 hours.

Rest in peace, Broadway. The sticks will be out on the front porch for you. Take your pick.
