The University of Michigan is going to have a lethal line-up for the 2021-22 season. Earlier this week, Buffalo Sabres first overall pick Owen Power announced that he was going to return to the school for one more season, and Michigan revealed this weekend that they're getting their dynamic duo on forward back.

Seattle Kraken first round pick Matt Beniers and Columbus Blue Jackets first round pick Kent Johnson will be returning for the 2021-22 season. Along with those three names, New Jersey Devils first round pick Luke Hughes will also be heading to Michigan for his freshman year.

Michigan will also have Mackie Samoskevich (Florida's first rounder), John Beecher (Boston's first rounder in 2019), and Brendan Brisson (Vegas' first rounder in 2020).

The Wolverines will open up the 2021-22 season at home on Friday, October 8th against Lake Superior State.
