The Montreal Canadiens have reportedly invited forward Tag Bertuzzi to their rookie camp which is set to begin in a months' time.

Bertuzzi, 20, is the son of former NHLer Todd Bertuzzi, who is well remembered for his days with the Vancouver Canucks as a dominant goal scoring power forward, as well as for the infamous Steve Moore incident. Tag is also the cousin of current NHLer Tyler Bertuzzi of the Detroit Red Wings.

Bertuzzi was unable to play any games in the 2020-21 season due to the OHL suspending and eventually cancelling their season. In 57 games with the Hamilton Bulldogs a season prior he had 25 goals and 47 points. His goal total that season was good enough for second on the team, trailing only L.A. Kings prospect Arthur Kaliyev.
