One of the biggest personalities in the hockey world, Sean Avery, has gone to twitter to start some more fireworks among fans worldwide.

As everyone knows, COVID-19 has continued to wear on, and it has split many fans, players, and officials across the world. Some people believe that vaccinations should be required, but some people are the total opposite. Now the debate is coming to the NHL.

The former enforcer has reportedly been told that the NHL is asking employees in at least the New York City office to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination by September 13th, or else they will be placed on unpaid leave.

This is a huge sign of what may be coming to the NHL as well. Other sports leagues, including the National Football League, are highly promoting that their players receive the vaccine, or else their team will be punished. There has not been any word on the vaccine being required for NHL players, but it would not be surprising if that is what comes next.
