The NHL's free agent market has pretty much been wiped of top talent, but there are still notable names swirling in trade rumors. There is speculation that at least a couple of star players could still get moved before the start of next season, and here are the most likely candidates.

Jack Eichel, Buffalo Sabres

Eichel has been involved in trade rumors since the start of the offseason, and it is surprising that he hasn't been traded yet. Expect that to change sooner rather than later as Eichel wants out of Buffalo badly. The possible suitors are the New York Rangers, Vegas Golden Knights, Anaheim Ducks, and Minnesota Wild.

Vladimir Tarasenko, St. Louis Blues

Tarasenko has been a star winger for the Blues since he arrived, and the 29-year-old winger has completely relaxed his no-trade clause in order to be moved. The New York Islanders and Carolina Hurricanes both could be interested in Tarasenko, even with his $7.5 million cap hit.

Christian Dvorak, Arizona Coyotes

Dvorak is a skilled two-way center who has the potential to become a stud with the right team. The Calgary Flames, Boston Bruins, Minnesota Wild, Montreal Canadiens, New York Rangers, and San Jose Sharks are among the teams interested in the 25-year-old.

Phil Kessel, Arizona Coyotes

It has been reported that Kessel's representatives have asked the Coyotes for a trade before the season starts and many teams could come calling. The 33-year-old is rumored to want to play for the Golden Knights, but it remains to be seen if he is interested. The Minnesota Wild, San Jose Sharks, and Los Angeles Kings could all also use a winger like Kessel.
