Likely Timeline for Chris Kreider Trade Disclosed by Top NHL Insider Darren Dreger
Chris Kreider's name has been at the center of many trade rumors lately, and now top NHL insider Darren Dreger has revealed what a timeline could possibly look like.
Earlier in the week, Elliotte Friedman reported that the New York Rangers are open to hearing trade offers for forward Chris Kreider and defenseman Jacob Trouba.
Among the names indicated are Chris Kreider and Jacob Trouba, although other options will be considered.

It also comes on the heels of a pretty embarrassing 6-2 defeat at the hands of the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday night, seemingly some sort of eye-opener for the Rangers brass.
As a season slowly begins slipping out of reach, obviously, changes are being weighed.
Chris Kreider, 33, has played in all 19 of the Rangers' games this season, scoring nine times. But he's cooled off dramatically, scoring just once in his last six games.
The 2009 first-round pick has a significant $6.5 million cap hit and has some trade protection via a 15-team no-trade clause, further limiting the teams the Rangers can engage in talks with.
Adding to the speculation, TSN's Darren Dreger recently weighed in on when the Rangers might pull the trigger on moving the veteran forward.
This is a clear indicator to the rest of the Rangers roster that changes are coming, and each player will have to prove their worth to the team.
