Over the past few seasons, it's no secret that the Boston Bruins have had a major edge over the Toronto Maple Leafs, with the 2023/24 season serving as a perfect example of that, as Boston went a perfect 4-0 in the regular season before eliminating Toronto in a seven game series in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Unfortunately for Maple Leafs fans, it appears as though this dominance has got in the heads of the teams players, as indicated by a recent interview involving the team and the TSN's BarDown YouTube channel.
During the quiz which many players attended, they were asked to name goal horns from around the NHL, with the first one being Toronto's own. The host gave a hint that 'you hear this one the most', and while everyone else immediately realized it was the Maple Leafs, the same can't be said for William Nylander, whose immediate and hilarious reaction was, is it Boston?
It was a hilarious moment which caused Nylander and the host to break out into laughter, but unsurprisingly, it's led to plenty of trolling on social media, with fans using this to point out Boston's dominance over Toronto. In those games, Nylander has played fantastic, but with the Boston Bruins using their depth and major advantage in net, the Maple Leafs just haven't had the team to beat them, so perhaps things will change after their additions this summer.
Ultimately though, this moment was just a fun, hilarious one during a very fun video involving many of the Maple Leafs players, so let's just hope for Nylander's sake that he can quieten down some of the trolling that may be coming his way after this video.
