Evgeny Kuznetzov to officially leave the NHL and Carolina Hurricanes
Today news has been reported on X revealing that Carolina Hurricanes forward Evgeny Kuznetsov is leaving for the KHL.
This afternoon reports are confirming that Evgeny Kuznetsov's NHL career is coming to an end for the time being. According to the Russian news source, Evgeny Kuznetsov will be signing in the KHL with SKA St. Petersburg.

At the moment it has not been determined why Evgeny Kuznetsov has made this decision. He arrived in Carolina after being traded by the Washington Capitals at the trade deadline. Now under new GM Eric Tulsky, the team will place him on waivers to buy him out.
