Rempe made headlines throughout the season because of his several heavyweight fights, including an encounter with Matt Martin of the New York Islanders at MetLife Stadium and Toronto Maple Leafs enforcer Ryan Reaves.

Now, he's transitioning from rookie brawls to sophomore bouts. Laraque, the former Edmonton Oilers tough guy, revealed he's been coaching Rempe and Manitoba Moose forward Tyrel Bauer in the art of hockey fighting.
