Edmonton Oilers fans disrespect the US National Anthem in disrespectful scene
Edmonton Oilers fans are very passionate, as they should be as the team looks to tie up their series against the Florida Panthers, but tonight they went too far.
During the scared hockey tradition of the national anthem, Edmonton Oilers fans passionately chanted Sergei, poking fun at Florida Panthers goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky, who has now allowed two straight losses. This caught they eye of several people, who deemed it disrespectful and in breach of the hockey code.
Oilers fans chanting "SER-GEI!" to drown out the first 15 seconds of the American national anthem, before quieting down.

We will see who leaves this game victorious. If it is the Florida Panthers, they will hoist Lord Stanley in Edmonton's territory. If it is the Edmonton Oilers, they will return to Florida for a winner takes all game 7. Either way, we are in for some amazing hockey.
