More major details of NHL Utah's branding are leaked publicly

After some major slip-ups by Ryan Smith and his organization, more major details of NHL Utah's branding have been leaked publicly after more trademarked logos for the team were shared online.

Fans of the Arizona Coyotes were absolutely disheartened to hear that they would be losing their home team. The former Yotes had to pack their for Salt Lake City after bad financial decisions led to the team's purchase by Utah Jazz owner and businessman Ryan Smith.

Since the team has made their official move, their leadership has been sloppy with rebranding details at best. After opening some new name ideas for the franchise, Smith slipped up while calling in on the Pat McAfee show. Duirng this brief interview, he shared that Mammoth and Yeti are two of the final four names for the Utah team after their first season.

Additionally, fans got ahold of one of the potential inaugural logo sketches and shared it across social media. Though this was not confirmed as the final choice, it left fans enough to suspect this would be, at the very least, the color scheme they would follow.

Now, NHL Utah has officially trademarked its final eight logo designs for the upcoming season. Four have now been made public, including that which was previously leaked, and all have the same color scheme.

It is clear that despite a messy start to the franchise rebranding, NHL Utah is closer to its final inaugural form. However, if the way the leadership operates continues to be as careless as it has these last couple of months, they could have to move again sooner than they know it.
