TSN's Pierre LeBrun is reporting that there is another big name who could be available at the NHL's trade deadline, which is now a mere 6 days away.

According to LeBrun, during Tuesday's edition of Insider Trading, the Anaheim Ducks are listening to offers on heavy-hitting defenseman Josh Manson.

"They've had a few calls on Josh Manson, but teams are going to have to step up," LeBrun said.

LeBrun did not expand on what the potential asking price is on Manson, but given the impact that the 29-year-old could have in any contender's top four, he certainly is not going to come cheap - especially because he has one year remaining after this one on his current deal, which carries a $4.1M cap hit.

Though Manson's name had come up in rumours during last year's trade deadline and during the offseason, this is the first indication that the Ducks are actually willing to move the hard-nosed blueliner.

Manson is a very intriguing option for teams like Boston and Winnipeg, who are both rumoured to be looking for a defenseman ahead of the postseason and it's no secret that Manson's play-style has Stanley Cup Playoffs written all over it.

There will be no shortage of suitors for his services should the Ducks' asking price be a reasonable one.
