Per Buffalo Sabres beat writer John Vogl, forward Taylor Hall will not dress for tonight's game versus the New Jersey Devils for precautionary reasons.

This suggests that Hall, who is set to become an unrestricted free agent at seasons end, will likely be moved in the next couple of days. The 29-year-old signed a one-year deal with the Sabres this past offseason, hoping he could team up with Jack Eichel and be able to command a massive payday this summer.

Unfortunately, things have not gone as planned. In fact, they could not have gone much worse. The Sabres just recently snapped out of an 18-game losing streak, while Hall has just two goals and 19 points in 37 games. Though he should be able to bounce back with a new team, his poor season has certainly lowered the market for him in terms of both what he will get in free agency, as well as what the Sabres will be able to acquire for him prior to this year's April 12 trade deadline.
