Brad Marchand suffers injury after hit from Sam Bennett
Boston Bruins captain Brad Marchand is unlikely to return tonight after taking a massive hit from Florida Panthers forward Sam Bennett.
Earlier tonight, Sam Bennett shook Brad Marchand up with this massive hit.
Marchand appeared to be in some pain after taking a hit from Bennett.
Later, it was announced that the Boston Bruins captain would not be returning to the game.
Bruins have announced Marchand is unlikely to return
His status for game four is currently unknown but as it stands, the Bruins are in need of a comeback.
Marchand leads the Bruins both on the ice and off the ice. He had 10 points through nine playoff games with the Bruins thus far.
This is Bennett's first game since going down with an injury in the Florida Panthers' first-round matchup against the Tampa Bay Lightning. He is already making an impact for the Panthers and currently, they are leading the Bruins and look likely to go up 2-1 in their series against the Boston Bruins.
