Brad Marchand embarrasses the Maple Leafs in post-game presser

The Boston Bruins sent the Toronto Maple Leafs packing for the summer, but not without a little extra sting from Brad Marchand.

David Pastrnak won it with that overtime goal, sealing the deal for the Bruins 1:54 into overtime, giving Boston an epic 2-1 overtime win in Game 7 at a raucous TD Garden. His move was magic, cutting across the crease and sneaking in that backhand shot over Ilya Samsonav's pad.

And let's not forget about Hampus Lindholm's set up for that game-tying goal. That intentional dump-in bounced off the boards right to Pastrnak, and he made no mistake.

Yet Marchand couldn't resist adding a bit of salt to the wound. He threw some shade the Leafs' way, using their slogan, "Just Beleaf," when talking about the Bruins' mindset.

William Nylander tried to spark the Leafs with the icebreaker goal in the third period, thanks to a sweet setup from Auston Matthews, who returned after a two-game absence. Unfortunately for the Leafs, Lindholm quickly dashed their hopes by tying it up just over a minute later. The Leafs' struggles against the Bruins continued, with their last series win against them dating back to 1959. They've now lost four game 7s against them since 2013.
