Carson Soucy of the Minnesota Wild has a date with the NHL's Department of Player Safety. The defenceman is facing supplementary discipline after a hit on Arizona Coyotes forward Conor Garland Tuesday night. Soucy was called for charging and it appears he will be suspended for that.
Following that hit, Arizona's Lawson Crouse would take some liberties with Soucy, fighting him and continuing to land punches even after Soucy had fallen to the ice, which many on social media felt was against the code.
We'll know what Soucy's punishment will be later on today.
