The Maple Leafs face a major challenge in round one of the playoffs, and they may now be starting the series without one of their biggest stars.

The Toronto Maple Leafs come into the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs with optimism, but with the injuries piling up, it makes the upcoming series against the Boston Bruins even tougher. On Friday, things got even worse with William Nylander reportedly missing practice, and the update from Head Coach Sheldon Keefe shouldn't fill their fans with confidence.

Toronto head coach Sheldon Keefe declared William Nylander and Bobby McMann, who did not practice today, as "possibilities" for Game 1.

According to Keefe, Nylander is a possibility for game one, and with Bobby McMann also considered the same, this lineup could look much different to the one we've seen in recent weeks. With 10 points in 11 playoff games a year ago, this team desperately need Nylander on the ice if they are to take down the incredibly tough Bruins team, so we will see how things shake out ahead of their Saturday matchup.
