Tom Wilson may be facing additional punishment after high-sticking
Noah Gregor of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
The game between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Washington Capitals got a little heated last night, however, it wasn't anything out of the norm.
Tom Wilson, who is
well-known for toeing the edge of playing dirty, managed to get himself into trouble, though.
During the game, Wilson high-sticked
Noah Gregor of the Toronto Maple Leafs. The high-stick was called a double minor during the game, however, the video review of it has some thinking that Wilson should get additional punishment for the play.

high-sticking penalty on Wilson
Wilson's play wasn't able to slow the Leafs down, though, as they were able to hand the Capitals a handy 7-3 loss. This comes after the Leafs made some
significant line changes to their blueline, and it looks like it paid off.
On the offensive front,
Max Domi and
Auston Matthews shined for the Leafs, with Matthews scoring twice and adding 3 assists, and Domi tallying 4 assists. The scoring power relieved fans that the Leafs could get it done with
Mitch Marner on the injured reserve list.
