The injury bug continues to hammer the Buffalo Sabres. The latest one is to goaltender Linus Ullmark who has started the bulk of games for the Sabres this season and had some good numbers, despite Buffalo's issues with winning. Ullmark was injured during the series of saves against the New Jersey Devils Thursday night and will miss at least a month, according to the team.

Meanwhile, Jack Eichel will miss Saturday's game against Philadelphia with a lower-body injury and is listed as day-to-day. In some good news, defenceman Rasmus Ristolainen will draw back into the lineup Saturday after a suffering serious complications from the COVID-19 virus. Jeff Skinner is also back after spending the last three games as a healthy scratch despite his $9 million a year salary.

The Sabres recently put Jake McCabe on injured reserve and he'll miss the rest of the season with a knee injury. Fellow defenceman William Borgen is also out until at least April 6th as he deals with an arm issue. Centre Zemgus Girgensons is out for the season with a torn hamstring.
