Devils fans have beef with Rangers rookie center Matt Rempe.
Devils Fans Cyberbully Rangers Rookie, Make Jokes About Dead Dad
Devils fans have certainly come to hate the Rangers rookie. Last night he had his second incident with the Devils after he elbowed Jonas Siegenthaler in the head. In the teams previous matchup he was also ejected just ten seconds into his first shift for a high hit on Nathan Bastian. This has lead to many Devils fans harassing the center online.
-
Some of these fans have expressed some really gross behavior, particularly with making jokes about Rempe's father, who has passed away. Needless to say, this kind of behavior is not justified, even if Rempe has not played the cleanest game so far in his NHL career.

Rempe Suspended Four Games For Hit On Siegenthaler
Today, the NHL Department of Player Safety announced a four-game suspension for the rookie's hit on Siegenthaler. It is the first suspension of Rempe's career, just ten games in.
-
The hit itself was very questionable. It appeared as though he deliberately stuck hie elbow out on a hit that was unnecessary in the first place. Furthermore, the head was the principle point of contact.
-
At this rate, this won't be the last time Rempe is suspended by the NHL.
As seen on Devils fans threaten Rempe's family and make fun of his deceased Dad
Do you agree with the suspension to Rempe?
