Reports from Elliotte Friedman and Jeff Marek have confirmed that the Maple Leafs have completed a deal with the Minnesota Wild. The deal will bring forward Connor Dewar to Toronto.

Dewar this season has played 57 games for the Wild and has 14 points. He will bring a young presence to the Maple Leafs bottom six at just 24 years old. The Maple Leafs felt they needed a forward to round out the lineup and Dewar was their guy.
