RUMOUR: Sidney Crosby Considering Trade From the Penguins

Sidney Crosby has been the face of the Pittsburgh Penguins and one of the biggest names in the NHL for two decades now, but he may finally be on the move.

While fans have long wanted to see the duo of Nathan MacKinnon and Crosby together in Colorado, things may now finally be starting to happen with the Penguins looking towards their future.

According to a report, the trade rumours surrounding Crosby have only gotten hotter in the past few days, to the point where he may want to part ways with the organization.

That's not to say that he's ready to demand a trade, but the Penguins are clearly heading towards a rebuild, and with both sides wanting to do what's best for the other, a deal may come together quickly.

In his age 36-season, Crosby has been better than ever with 63 points in 60 games, and he can clearly be a leader on a Stanley Cup winning team still, so we will see how this shakes up over the next few days.
