BREAKING: Elias Pettersson Signs Record-Breaking Contract

It was announced today that Vancouver Canucks forward Elias Pettersson has signed an eight-year extension with the Vancouver Canucks.

While the full terms of the deal have not been revealed, it will certainly be the biggest contract in Canucks history, and possibly in the history of Canadian teams.

UPDATE

The contract will carry an annual average value of $11.6-million.
