Matt Rempe may have just debuted in the NHL less than two weeks ago, but he's already become one of the most talked about players in the league. The question now is though, is it putting too much pressure on him to sacrifice his body so early?

Matt Rempe's disturbing injuries caught at practice

At the latest New York Rangers practice, Rempe, the 6-foot-7 monster was captured on photo with his face looking incredibly disturbing after just 15 minutes of ice time.

Call me soft all you want, but a 21-year-old kid looking like this after a total of 15 minutes of ice time should not be allowed.

His brain isn't even close to fully developed. CTE is no joke.

In just 5 games, the 21-year old has helped New York with a goal and an assist, but it's his fighting that's making headlines around the hockey world. In those five games, Rempe has been in the penalty box for 32 minutes as a result of those fights that are being showcased all over social media, and it may be time for him to slow it down.

Ultimately, hockey is one of the toughest sports in the world, and fighting will always be a huge part of the NHL, but unless a veteran on the team or the coaching staff can tell him to tone it down, his career in the Big Apple and the NHL may be short lived.
