Just right after the
Jamie Drysdale and
Cutter Gauthier blockbuster trade between the Anaheim Ducks and Philadelphia Flyers three weeks ago, Pat Verbeek put another star player on his trading block and mentionned he is «listenting to offers» on
Trevor Zegras. An eastern conference team has officially entered the fold.
Zegras to Montreal looking like a possibility.
In a recent post by Puck Empire, it was reported that a reporter Maxim Lapierre said that the Montreal Canadiens were interested and are one of the front runners for a potential
Trevor Zegras trade. Very interesting news as the Canadiens can definitely benefit from adding a forward with the pedigree of Zegras, as their offensive pipeline lacks star power or potential star power.
PUBLICITÉS
Zegras, who's been injured for most of the season, has struggled with only 7 points in 20 games this season. He's currently out with a High Ankle Injury. Last season he got 65 points in 81 games with a struggling Ducks team. He can definitely benefit from a change of scenery.
A potential trade for
Trevor Zegras can involve the following:
TRADE PROPOSAL
Canadiens recieve: Trevor Zegras
Ducks receive: 2024 first round pick (WPG), Alex Newhook and Riley Kidney
The only untouchables in a potential Zegras deal should be
Cole Caufield,
Nick Suzuki,
David Reinbacher, Lane Hutson and
Kirby Dach.
