The NHL is full of physicality and on-ice personalities, and unsurprisingly, that leads to plenty of hatred among the players.

Anonymous poll has hilarious results

Yearly, a poll is conducted to quiz anonymous NHL players on a variety of topics, but one of the most interesting is 'Who's the player in the league whose face you would most want to punch?'

Now, the results from The Athletic have been released, and the results are completely unsurprising.

Familiar faces atop the list

At the top of the list is Nick Cousins of the Florida Panthers, who garnered over 28% of the votes, with 'other' coming in second spot.

Beyond that however are some very notable names, with the likes of Brad Marchand, both Matthew and Brady Tkachuk along with Michael Bunting and the surprising Conor Garland.

It's hard to tell whether or not players take this seriously or vote for the funniest results, but the biggest surprise is Connor Garland, who finds himself tied with Bunting in fifth place.

The poll only tallied the votes of 147 players, so this may not be the most accurate list, but it's certainly given some intriguing results and an interesting insight to who the players on the ice aren't fans of.
