The Vegas Golden Knights are in a bit of a sticky situation. With a game against the St. Louis Blues scheduled for tonight, the team has been forced to place its coaching staff in isolation "out of an abundance of caution". According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, general manager Kelly McCrimmon will take over behind the bench for now, with the coaching staff of the AHL's Henderson Silver Knights expected to join him.
Luckily for Vegas, McCrimmon has experience with coaching. He was the head coach of the Brandon Wheat Kings of the Western Hockey League. No word on long the Golden Knights' coaches will be in isolation at the moment.
