Tonight more details have been released by a source close to the Chicago Blackhawks regarding the Corey Perry scandal.

On a recent appearance on his podcast, the Dropping The Gloves show former NHLer and current NBC Chicago television personality John Scott spoke about the Corey Perry scandal.

During his thoughts on the situation, Scott confirmed the widely spread rumor that Perry was drinking during a team event and made an inappropriate pass at an NBC Staff member.

This is the first time we are getting reports from a source within the Chicago Blackhawks organizational circle. He confirms what many thought in that the incident was not that severe but with recent events in Chicago the Blackhawks decided to be extra careful.

Now despite the incident, Perry is back in the NHL after spending time to better himself. He will have his opportunity to redeem himself as a member of the Edmonton Oilers.
