Carter Hart is off to a fantastic start in 2023-24, but now, the Philadelphia Flyers have revealed some shocking news that no one saw coming.

On Tuesday afternoon, the Flyers announced via social media that goaltender Carter Hart is taking an indefinite leave of absence.

As a show of respect to his privacy, the team have not given further details, and revealed that they won't be commenting further on the situation.

Right now, Hart has led this team to second spot in the tough Metropolitan Division, so we wish him well and hope he can get back on the ice at some point this season.
