Corey Perry's involvement in a team incident pushed the Chicago Blackhawks to terminate the contract of the veteran a few months ago.

Major details concerning his return to the NHL have emerged.

A few weeks after the NHL announced Perry's eligibility to join an NHL team, insider Mike Johnson shared new details of the possible timeline for his return.

In an episode of Got Yer Back, a podcast, Johnson said that Perry would receive many contract offers and could get a deal done within the next ten days.
