BREAKING: Capitals Announce Terrible News for Alex Ovechkin
The Washington Capitals announced surprising news today as their captain Alex Ovechkin has suffered a lower-body injury.
Ovechkin, who is still on the pursuit toward become the NHL's all-time leading goal-scorer, has taken a major step back this season, and hasn't looked like the absolute gamebreaker he has been for nearly two decades.
This lower-body injury will render him unavailable tonight, and possibly longer term. This is just another road block on his journey to greatness, not that he hasn't already achieved it!
