It was announced today that the Montreal Canadiens have acquired 6 foot three winger Filip Cederqvist from the Buffalo Sabres.

In 19 AHL games this season, he scored four points, and he looks to be an intriguing winger prospect, in exchange the Canadiens send future considerations to the Buffalo Sabres, which will likely lead to be nothing.

The Canadiens are likely to make many big moves due to their status as a rebuilding team it will be interesting to see what other moves can use. Makes during this season.
